Imagine is a small and lightweight image viewer and manipulation tool which includes an imagine animator, a number of photo editing and manipulation tools and a few different options available for customization.
The primary layout of Imagine is pretty simple, featuring a file explorer tree on the left with a grid of images on the right-hand panel. From there, you can right click an image and view some editing options. A double click will open the image into a slideshow. The interface of this software can be slightly customized in the settings dialog.
From Imagine's slideshow display, the top bar contains a number of icons for editing an image. You can apply various files to photos such as sharpen, blur, negative, tint, soften and some others. The imagine animation tool can be used to combine multiple images together and apply it to an animation which can be saved as a GIF file. These animations can be customized by increasing or decreasing the speed.
Support for common formats and camera RAW
In terms of file support, Imagine can open and save the common web file formats like JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP but is also capable of opening a variety of RAW image formats from different manufacturers such as Sony, Canon, Nikon and Pentax. It supports 3FR, ARW, CR2, CRW, DNG, ERF, KDC, MRW, NEF, ORF, RAF, RAW, SRW, SR2 and other types of RAW files.
All in all, Imagine is a useful and simplistic image viewer that comes packed with a few fun extras. It's fast and uses little in terms of system resources.
